Huntingdale Site Visit

Last week, MBS was onsite in Huntingdale to conduct a tree assessment and look for evidence of Black Cockatoo habitat. Sue Brand and Sharon Rose walked along the Southern River foreshore checking tree species and condition, and looking for signs of Black Cockatoos frequenting the area. This was made easy for them when a small flock flew overhead and proceeded to sit in the tall Jarrah trees, serenading them while they worked. A particularly nice surprise was coming across a pink fairy orchid growing out from under a fallen branch in one of the parklands.
