Sue has worked in the environmental field since 1996 as an academic in the TAFE sector and as a consultant. She joined MBS Environmental in 2020, bringing with her a diverse array of knowledge and experience that can be applied to projects across a range of environmental contexts including land development, mining, industry, as well as state and local government.
Sue's experience and expertise includes:
- Management plan preparation, including those relating to wetland, flora, fauna, dust, construction, and revegetation plans.
- Design and implementation of ground and surface water sampling plans.
- Bushfire planning and design (BPAD) activities, including bushfire attack level (BAL) assessments, bushfire hazard assessments and preparation of bushfire management plans for single lots up to large subdivisions.
- Environmental approvals, including impact assessment required under State and Commonwealth legislation, and clearing permits.
- Compliance auditing and reporting relating to licence and other approval conditions.
- Overseeing flora, vegetation, and fauna survey activities and reporting outcomes, including those relating to black cockatoos and other conservation significant species and communities.
