Sheffield Resources is currently developing their 100% owned Thunderbird mineral sands deposit on the Dampier Peninsula in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. MBS is assisting Sheffield Resources with:
- Baseline surveys including soil and landform investigations, waste rock and tailings characterisation.
- Developing environmental impact assessment documents for State and Federal approval.
- Works Approval and Mining Proposal approvals.
- Environmental offset strategy development, advice, and regulator liason.
- Stakeholder engagement and community briefings.
- Regulator consultation and specialist environmental project development advice.
