Colluli Potash Project
Danakali Limited was focused on the development of the Colluli Potash Project which is a 50:50 Joint Venture between Danakali Limited and the Eritrean National Mining Company (ENAMCO). Drilling commenced in early 2010 and over 1 billion tonnes of potassium bearing salts for the production of potash have been identified. The project is located in Eritrea along the Red Sea coast in the Horn of Africa, bordering Ethiopia and Djibouti to the south and Sudan to the west and north. MBS was the lead approvals consultant for the Project.
Colluli Potash Project Assistance:
- Scoping and management of baseline studies to support environmental and social impact assessment.
