MBS celebrated the retirement of Dr David Allen last night. After a long and illustrious career both in the public sector and at MBS, Dave has made the move to enjoy life away from work. He has had contributed significantly to MBS in his 11 years with us, starting our geochemistry team that he leaves now having 6 highly talented members as well as making sure our environmental scientists and engineers have a much better understanding of soil science, materials characterisation and practical application of chemistry. You don’t have to look too far in the mining and agricultural sectors to see Dave’s positive contributions. You are a legend Dave & we are sorry to lose you from the team, but we all wish you well in your next chapter of life.
