Exploring for Potash in Eritrea
Danakali Limited (formerly South Boulder Mines) is a mineral exploration and mining company that has been actively exploring for potash at the Colluli Potash Project in Eritrea since 2009. Eritrea is located along the Red Sea coast in the Horn of Africa, bordering Ethiopia and Djibouti to the south and Sudan to the west and north. MBS is undertaking the following work for Danakali Limited:
- Review of existing baseline study reports.
- Facilitation of submission of baseline reports to the government.
- Completion of further baseline studies.
- Participation in feasibility study activities.
- Preparing Social and Environmental Impact Assessment documentation.
