Ian is a highly experienced environmental professional with over 14 years of expertise in leading land development, mining, and linear infrastructure projects. As a Principal Environmental Scientist and the South West Office Manager, Ian excels in project permitting and approvals, environmental compliance, and environmental management planning across major sectors including land development, infrastructure, government, and mining. He has also provided bushfire management and permitting advice to clients in the Western Australian land development sector.

Ian’s deep understanding of environmental regulatory requirements has enabled him to successfully navigate and complete extensive environmental approval applications for numerous projects in Western Australia and New South Wales. Prior to joining MBS, Ian honed his industry knowledge and skills as an Environmental Superintendent in the Goldfields. Throughout his career, Ian has demonstrated a strong commitment to facilitating sustainable development outcomes, making him a valuable asset to both his employers and his clients.

Ian is also a trained Exemplar Global Auditor, Bushfire Attack Level Assessor and holds a Diploma in Project Management.
