Wednesday 14 October 2015 was National Ride2Work day (external link). MBS Environmental chose Tuesday 20 October 2015 as our Ride2Work day to encourage greater participation amongst part time staff. A total of eight staff members rode in, matching the number of participating staff members from the 2014 Ride2Work day. With a total of four staff members travelling to work via a combination of walking and public transport, 75% of the office were active in their commute on this day.
MBS Environmental encourages active travel where possible. As well as our regular cyclists, we have several dedicated walkers and public transport enthusiasts. Every little bit counts and MBS Environmental is proud to be part of the TravelSmart Workplace program.
