MBS get FAT and TravelSmart!

In September 2013 MBS launched a program to promote alternative means of transport called the Frequent Alternative Traveller (FAT) Rewards Scheme.  Through this program credits could be earned for using alternative transport (carpooling, public transport, cycling, running, walking etc) that could be redeemed by staff  for purchase of health related equipment/gear, SmartRider credit for public transport or as a contribution towards charity.

Since the introduction of this program, MBS has seen a rise in staff members riding, walking, carpooling and taking public transport to work. As a result, the Department of Transport and TravelSmart invited MBS to nominate for the TravelSmart Awards in October. Nomination for this award included filming of a video which took place today.
