Lance Bosch Retires from MBS

MBS announces the retirement of Lance Bosch, Principal Consultant and former Managing Director of the business.

Lance joined Martinick McNulty in October 1998 before going on to form MBS Environmental with Wolf Martinick and Kristy Sell in November 2002.

During Lance’s time at MBS, the company has expanded to several times its original size, has added a strong geoscience team and now has a number of people working in different geographical locations.  Lance successfully managed numerous environmental approval, compliance, and mine closure projects for a wide range of long-standing clients, including Panoramic Resources, Consolidated Minerals, Teck Cominco and Piacentini and Sons to name but a few.

While managing a large administrative and technical work load, Lance has also actively participated in many MBS social and fitness activities, most memorably founding and becoming the Champion for the award winning FAT (Frequent Alternative Traveler) scheme encouraging employees to ride, walk, car pool or use public transport to travel to work.

In July 2014, Lance stepped down as Managing Director, but remained with MBS as a Principal Consultant, to focus on his long-running consulting work with several projects.  With much of that work now complete, Lance has decided to retire from MBS, to spend more of his time with his family and pursuing personal passions and interests.

We trust that colleagues and clients, past and present, will join us in thanking Lance for his time at MBS, and all the skill, diligence, and good humour he has brought to the business and the projects he has worked on.

We wish Lance and his family all the best for the future.

Kristy Sell
