As of 1 January this year it has become compulsory for all new projects to refer and adhere to the new Guideline for Mining Proposals, released in April 2016.
DMP will be holding three Stakeholder Forums on 22 and 24 February 2017 and 9 March 2017 in Perth to discuss important aspects of the new guidelines. These forums will be aimed at large scale mining operations with separate forums planned for smaller scale operations. For those who are unable to attend the sessions, please feel free to contact MBS staff members Freea and Karen or Nicole and Jonathon on (08) 9226 3166 as they will be attending the Wednesday and Friday sessions respectively.
