Sandfire Resources NL (Sandfire) has announced construction of the 10.6 MW solar power facility and associated battery storage will commence at the DeGrussa Copper Mine. This solar power facility will be one of the largest integrated off-grid solar power systems to be used in the mining industry anywhere in the world. MBS Environmental congratulates Sandfire on this initiative and is appreciative of being given the opportunity to assist Sandfire in gaining environmental approvals for this renewable energy project.
