Congratulations to David O’Brien for 10 years’ service at MBS. Never keen to let a milestone go by unrecognised, today we helped him celebrate this important event.
In his time to date with MBS, David has:
- Calmly managed the environmental aspects for construction of many gas pipelines in WA irrespective of pressure from clients, pipeline owners and the myriad of regulatory agencies involved.
- Spent close to 2 years at Nifty Copper Operations in an onsite support role. He continues to assist with specialised aspects of their environmental management and provides a long term knowledge base for the project owners.
- Been a mainstay for Poseidon Nickel and their plans to recommence operations.
- Been instrumental in adoption of new information collection and data management methods within MBS.
- Been a keen participant in the annual MBS triathlon teams and other social events including many a Goldfields Environmental Management Group function.
- Taken a senior management role within the group in 2014 helping to support all team members in their work.
