2015: International Year of Soil

Just in case any one had forgotten, we are currently halfway through the International Year of Soil! Here at MBS we love soils (especially Dr Dave Allen) and provide a range of soil-related work including:

  • Baseline topsoil/soil assessment.
  • Soil, tailings and waste rock characterisation.
  • Irrigation trials including treated wastewater reticulation.
  • Nutrient retention/interception studies.
  • Acid Sulfate Soil baseline assessment.
  • Contaminated Site PSI and DSI soil sampling and assessment.
  • Advice on bioremediation techniques.
  • Review of rehabilitation success of constructed landforms.
  • Watercourse, salt lake, port dredge and mudflat sediment sampling.
  • Hydrocarbon and mineral concentrate spill clean-up and validation sampling.
