The Sulphur Springs project is owned by Venturex Resources Limited and located 144 km southeast of Port Hedland. Venturex is currently progressing approvals for the greenfields site and MBS Environmental has assisted with the following:
- Strategic advice regarding the environmental approvals pathway and regulator consultation.
- Referral to the Western Australia Environmental Protection Authority under Part IV of the Environmental Protection Act 1986.
- Preparation of an Environmental Review Document under Part IV of the Environmental Protection Act 1986
- Preparation of a Mine Closure Plan in accordance with the Guidelines for Preparing Mine Closure Plans (Department of Mines and Petroleum and Environmental Protection Authority, 2015).
