MBS would like to congratulate Gert who has been promoted to Environmental Geochemist (Level 1) and Dr Thomas Robson who has been promoted to Environmental Geochemist (Level 2). Gert and Thomas are integral members of our Geoscience team providing valuable support to Dave Allen, Michael North and Karen Ganza. Gert has spent many days in Esperance assisting with air quality monitoring for Esperance Port, but equally likes to get out to mine sites to kick the dirt, find a precious rock and talk to geo’s. Thomas has brought his wealth of knowledge from CSIRO and the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority and since joining MBS 12 months ago has been busy applying this to materials characterisation, ecological risk assessments, Dangerous Goods management and Threatened Flora monitoring. We look forward to their involvement in many new exciting projects in the year ahead. Congratulations!
