St Ives Gold Mine
Gold Fields Australia engaged MBS initially in 2013 to provide an on-site Environmental Advisor for its St Ives Gold Mine development near Kambalda, WA. The St Ives development includes several mines on the surface of the large salt lake, Lake Lefroy.
MBS has subsequently provided further professional services, including:
- Preparation of Mining Proposals.
- Preparation of Works Approval Applications.
- Waste Rock Characterisation and AMD assessment.
- Chemical analysis of water and advice on treatment options.

MBS has assisted these mines in providing mine closure planning advice and preparing Mine Closure Plans.
